    Hi
I really like the sound of your shop but I wanted to know if you are planning on selling certified fresh organic fruit and veg. From what I read on your website you seem supportive of organic food but on your organic is it really better post you say ‘organic has an important role to play in a healthier, fairer and more sustainable food system . We think the more of us who support Organic food with our everyday shopping habits, the cheaper and more accessible it will become. That’s why Protect Nature is one of hiSbe‘s 8 Everyday Choices.’ It isn’t clear to me if this means you will be selling organic veg. After all it is the supermarkets that have given people the impression that organic is elitist and overpriced. There are shops up and down the country (far from enough of them, which is why your shops sounds such a great idea) as well as opportunities to buy direct from box schemes or at the farm gate where prices for organic are as good as non organic supermarket produce. There are also plenty of organic wholesalers and farms selling produce to shops at affordable prices to sell on to the customer. I look forward to your response. Thanks and all the best with the shops

      Hi Stuart, thanks for posting!
The answer is yes, we will be selling certified fresh organic fruit and veg, meat and dairy and our goal is to help erode that overpriced/elitist image and sell it at affordable prices, exactly as you say. However, we will possibly sell some non-certified fruit and veg alongside it. For example, if we find a great small-scale local supplier, that we know work to organic standards but cannot afford the certification, we won’t count them out. We’re looking at it on a product-by-product basis.
